Features in Local Paper

Been meaning to share this post more or less all of Spring, but never got to it really. Been focusing on producing work and content, with less time over to document and share the results of it unfortunately. I always try to share a bit of glimpses through my Instagram, but those stories only last for a very brief time and never does the work justice.

So what is this about then? Well, I have been working with local newspaper here in Gothenburg called Göteborgsposten/Två Dagar in producing a series of features (both digital and in the weekend paper) around traveling. A format we call "Bilden" (translated "The image") in Swedish, in which I have shared different destinations together with a short text. I have shared destinations such as Lago di Como, Tokyo, Lofoten and Hong Kong throughout spring. A full spread with the image, with all focus on the image and then the text next to it. It has been very popular and a successful concept, which of course I am very happy and grateful for. Also lots of fun to be able to put the writing skills (although in Swedish) to a bit of a test, really fun. Moreover in the digital version online I have included more images, to give a bit more extensive taste of the destinations.

Although far from the biggest feature and work, it has been a really great experience being able to share some work in my hometown and local area. It means so much to be able to pick up the paper on Saturdays, seeing the images and knowing that I can hopefully share some inspiration to people around me. Especially then with a paper I have grown up with.

So, just wanted to share this that might seem like a minor thing but that has been really forgiving to be able to do. And I hope to be able to continue this together with GP/Två Dagar after summer as well. Please feel free to look into the link below where my reportages are collected. However it is only in Swedish, sorry about that..

I have a few more things I have worked/done lately that I would like to share so stay tuned!

Have a great weekend!
