Classic Nifty Fifty
Picked up one of these classic (and pretty common) Canon FD 50 mm f/1.4 lenses the other day and paired it with a Kipon adapter to my X-Pro2. Went out directly and obviously I had to start out with the simplest and easiest test - photographing the botanicals. Never mind the subjects, it was a while since I could just go out and snap some frames without having my mind over-crowded with thoughts, projects, work and school stuff. Felt great, just pure relaxation, having fun. And yeah, the lens is cool, have left it on the camera since I put it on basically.
Also, our presentation of our Master thesis went really, really great. Couldn't be happier with the outcome and finale.
I can now call myself "Master of Science" within Industrial Design Engineering, an incredible feeling and something I have been looking forward to for quite some time. Five incredible years at Uni and now I'll have a little bit of Summer and think about where I want to start my engineering career.
Cheers everyone and hope you're having a great start to Summer as well!
